- Serve as a key Executive Leadership Team member to generate positive impacts in innovation, delivery excellence, and client growth.
- Directly oversee and support the vice presidents who are managing the following Bixal practice areas:
- Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure that consulting services are aligned with Bixal's corporate goals and long-term business strategy.
- Be a spokesperson for the organization. Show sensitivity and establish respect, credibility and trust in federal government and non-government settings to open doors and promote the Bixal brand.
- Nurture a culture of operational excellence with a strong focus on quality and superior customer experience.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture across the organization and within each consulting service practice.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality consulting services that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Ensure organizational alignment in the design and execution of initiatives aimed at promoting a consulting mindset to positively impact people's lives.
- Leverage expertise to guide consulting teams in support of federal government initiatives in the U.S. and internationally.
- Drive innovation and facilitate the introduction of emerging techniques.
- Foster a growth mindset to instill a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
- Promote and deliver thought leadership within and across consulting services and OEI.
- Work closely with Vice Presidents and the Strategic Growth Team to identify, qualify, and pursue high-impact contracts among federal agencies.
- Develop and implement strategies to expand and enhance Bixal's presence in the federal government sector.
- Leverage existing networks of people, organizations, technologies, and ideas to ensure Bixal is constantly evolving, offering compelling and differentiated services to clients.
- Assist with organic and adjacent client growth through the development of thought leadership, prototyping, and the development of MVPs.
- Assess the potential impact of projects and guide decision-making on project selection.
- Collaborate with other divisions to ensure integrated and cross-functional project pursuits.
- Oversee the delivery of consulting services to ensure client satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
- Support the development and execution of strategic plans across all practices and for each practice.
- Monitor and measure the efficiency, effectiveness, impact, and profitability of each consulting service practice. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for consulting services.
- Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance operational excellence.
- Lead the standardization/adoption of the Bixal methodology framework (the Bixal Way) to ensure delivery excellence--from pursuits through project execution and expansion.
- Promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement to optimize service delivery.
- Provide regular reports to the executive team on the performance and impact of consulting projects.
- Minimum of 15 years of executive leadership experience in consulting in the Federal Government. Master's degree in business administration (MBA), technology, data analytics, or related field.
- Proven track record of success in leading and growing consulting practices among federal civilian agencies within a relevant domain (data, technology, strategic communications, or knowledge management).
- Strong understanding of the federal government contracting process.
- Familiarity with the federal policy frameworks (e.g. 21st Century IDEA), Executive Orders, (e.g., OMB Circular A-11 Section 280), and Congressional initiatives (Evidence Act) related to the public's experience.
- Excellent strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
