This requires the knowledge and ability to operate related test equipment and motorisedmotorized vehicles that are provided by Cogeco.2- Using various test devices and software. Determines condition and disposition. Identifies and assign preliminary fault information to units requiring functional repair.3- Performs database and administrative procedures as required for HTD Testing & Refurbishing, Order Fill, Shipping and Receiving. Fulfills Technician and Contractor equipment orders including digital boxes, modems, digital phones and literature.4- Fulfills Storefront orders for equipment.5- Processes equipment returns from all sources including Customers, Contractors, and Technicians.6- Salvages accessories. Maintain units within work area for deployment.7- Sorts kit accessories and literature for furtherance to the Kitting work cell. Segregates damaged goods for disposal.8- Packages and labels equipment for redeployment, furtherance or storage.9- Disposes of corrugate and empties the work station garbage bins.10- Responsible to comply with daily 6S procedures.11- Participates in physical inventory counts.12- Safeguards TDC operations and contents by complying with security procedures and protocols.13- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related job tasks, projects and/or other duties as required.As part of their work, employees must take all necessary measures to ensure their own health and safety, and that of their co-workers and the public in general. They must use available personal protective equipment at all times, and comply with all Health & Safety instructions, guidelines, policies and procedures issued by the Company.To support Cogeco’s ultimate goal of providing excellent service to current and potential customers, the incumbent must be constantly attentive and responsive to both external and internal customers’ needs and assist in the resolution of any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner while ensuring that the solution meets the customer’s needs.ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONSACADEMIC TRAININGHigh School diploma requiredWORK EXPERIENCE1-3 years’ previous experience in a distribution centre and /or packaging environment required1-3 years previous Skid Wrapper, Pump truck, Forklift, Raymond Reach certification and experience is preferred1-3 years’ experience testing and validating equipment is an asset1-3 years’ experience of Basic CATV materials is an assetExposure to Oracle Financial system is an assetSPECIFIC COMPETENCIESDemonstrates a working knowledge of MS Office (Word/Excel).Knowledge of WHMIS and MSDS experience.Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to exercise tact, sound judgement and discretion when dealing with others. A positive, “can do” attitude and customer focused approach that enables them to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity.Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision. Able to take initiative in identifying and resolving problems.Possesses sound organisationalorganizational, problem solving, analytical and reporting skills.Concentration and a high attention to detail are required when auditing and entering results.Must organize activities and prioritize to ensure timely completion of multiple order demandsPHYSICAL DEMANDS AND VISUAL ACUITYMust lift and move heavy packages and equipment regularly.
