We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UX/UI Designer with a focus on e-commerce, particularly online marketplaces. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for aesthetics, a deep understanding of user behaviour, and a proven track record of designing engaging and user-friendly interfaces. Experience in luxury or the arts will be considered a strong asset. Reports to the Chief Marketing & Product Officer. Preferred location is based in Paris on a hybrid basis (3 days per week in the office), but not mandatory.About Singulart:As one of the leading global online art galleries, SINGULART transcends traditional boundaries, connecting artists with collectors, no matter where they are in the world. Founded with a vision to democratise the art market and empower artists from diverse backgrounds, SINGULART has catalysed a revolution in how art is accessed, appreciated, and acquired.Responsibilities:- Create visually stunning and intuitive user interfaces for our e-commerce platform, with a primary focus on online marketplace functionality.- Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to effectively communicate design ideas and iterate on user interface solutions.- Work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, developers, and marketers to ensure alignment between design and business objectives.- In tandem with the Product Managers and Lead User Researcher, analyse user feedback, conduct usability testing, and leverage data-driven insights to optimise the user experience and improve drive conversion rates.- Maintain consistency in design elements across all platforms and ensure adherence to brand guidelines while also infusing creativity and innovation into the design process.- Consult on the continuous development of brand guidelines and how these are translated into UX/UI design processes/systems.- Collaborate with QA teams to ensure that the final product meets design specifications and delivers a seamless user experience across devices and browsers.- Advocate for accessibility and inclusivity in design, ensuring that all users, regardless of ability, can navigate and interact with our platform effectively.Skills and Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.- Proven experience (6+ years) as a UX/UI Designer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing your work in e-commerce and online marketplace design.- Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, Figma, Miro or similar software.- Solid understanding of user-centred design principles, information architecture, and interaction design patterns.- Experience with responsive design and mobile-first approaches.- Experience with usability testing methodologies, A/B testing, and analytics tools would be advantageous.- Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively articulate design concepts and rationale.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.- Passion for luxury brands, the arts, and an understanding of their unique design aesthetics and user expectations.- Experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript would be a plus.Want to know more?Meet Brice LECOMPTE, Co founderMeet Véra, Co-FounderDiscover the companyExplore the company's profile or follow them to find out if they're the right fit!Are you satisfied with the format of our job posts?Your feedback helps us improve the Welcome to the Jungle experience.YesNoFollow them!The companySINGULARTMuseums / Cultural Institutions, E-commerce94 employeesFounded in 2017Average age: 29 years oldEmployee turnover: 16%55%45%Who are they?Founded in 2017, SINGULART is an online art & design gallery dedicated to helping artists and designers take on the international barriers of the art market.
