DESCRIPTIONDo you want to work hard, have fun, and make history? Do you think fast, dive deep, and get things done? We're looking for someone to join the AWS Verified Access team to build zero trust network access capabilities for AWS customers. As a member of the team, you'll work on the core capabilities customers use to secure their most important infrastructure. Our team recently launched AWS Verified Access and are working directly with customers to address additional needs. This is your chance to help create the tools AWS customers will use to establish a zero trust environment for their employees, customers, and partners.As an SDE, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and deploying zero trust systems. You will collaborate closely with a team of engineers to influence our overall strategy and define the team's roadmap. You will also help drive the system architecture, spearhead best practices that enable a quality product, and help coach and develop junior engineers. A successful candidate will have an established background in engineering large scale software systems, a strong technical ability, great communication skills, and a motivation to achieve results in a fast paced environment.Key job responsibilities
As an SDE II, you will be engineering one or more of the core components of AWS Verified Access. You will contribute to the design of these components and work closely with other engineers on the team to deliver a reliable, scalable service. - 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming languagePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

The base pay for this position ranges from $115,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $223,600/year in our highest geographic market.
