Four Seasons Hotel SeoulThe F&B Reservationist responds to communications from guests and referral networks concerning reservations arriving by mail, telephone, fax, or through a central reservation system. Creates and maintains reservation records-usually by date of arrival and outlets listing prepares confirmation and promptly processes any cancellations and modifications. Tracks PDRs (Private Dining Room) availability based on reservations, and helps develop forecasts for restaurants revenue and occupancy. Knows the positioning statement of restaurants the hotel has as well as their location and layout. Knows all restaurants promotion plans-meaning status, rates, and benefits, closely working with PR and updating availability of all distribution channels like Table Solution and Web booking systems. Responsible for selling the restaurant and providing information to prospective guests. To capture sales from the incoming calls and coordinate details of each reservation to ensure the guest’s satisfaction.EducationsHigh school education or equivalent experienceExperience1 to 2 year of experience in restaurant, food and beverage, call centre or equivalent experience is requiredDesired Skills
- Has a working knowledge of Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures
- Has strong leadership and interpersonal skills, is able to prioritize and adapt to the changing needs of the operation
- Has proven ability to manage multiple priorities with lean resources while delivering high-quality results
- Requires basic computer skills for online training and managing your own employee profiles
- Is proactive, hands-on and able to operate autonomously
- Requires reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English and Korean language
- Has a positive attitude with a generous and uplifting team approach
- Has the ability to anticipate and prioritize the needs of the guest proactively
- Is energetic and has a professional approach to his/her craft
- Is flexible with his/her schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays
- Processes reservations by mail, telephone, fax or central reservation systems referral
- Knows the restaurants’ occupancy status, and all promotion’s benefits
- Creates and maintains reservation records by date of arrival, outlets
- Communicates reservation information to the outlets
- Processes cancellations and modifications and promptly relays this information to the concerned outlets
- Processes advance deposits on reservations if needed
- Calls to confirm and clear waitlisted reservations
- Runs appropriate reports checking for special requests, informing Guest Relations Manager of any special attention
- Tracks future PDRs availabilities based on of reservations
- Helps develop PDRs revenue and occupancy forecasts
- Prepares expected VIPs arrival list for F&B Guest Relations Manager
- Handles daily correspondence. Responds to inquiries and makes reservations as needed
- Makes sure that files are kept up to date
- Maintains a clean and neat appearance at work at all times
- Gets information about areas of interest in order to target more clients in particular seasons
- Is aware of all reservation procedures and assist with restaurant duties when required
- Handles Credit Card Authorization form properly
- Participates in the sale of our Dining Membership
- Anticipates the needs of guests, responds accordingly to guest inquiries or problems, and recognizes regular guests by name and utilizes the guest’s name consistently
- Has the ability to provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts
- Communicates with employees and managers to ensure operational needs are met
- Remains calm and alert, especially during emergency situations, heavy hotel activity, serving as a role model for the staff and other employees
- Supports the entire Food and Beverage operation, including working in other areas if necessary
- Communicates with guest and employees using a positive and clear speaking voice
- Listens to understand requests responds with appropriate actions, and provides accurate information
- Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact
- Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
Answers telephone using courteous, efficient telephone etiquette while obtaining all information necessary to process the guest’s reservation according to Four Seasons Standards, and describes the outlets and food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptionVisa Requirements
- Must already possess valid work authorization in South Korea.
