The school is currently seeking a trainee Teacher to work on a Part time basis, 3 days a week (term time only). This position is required from March/April on a permanent basis. The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting learners with complex needs on a 1:1 basis as their individual training teacher. Full training and coaching will be provided. Once you have completed the 2 year training you will be a fully fledged SEN teacher and will move into the senior teaching team.   • Teaching Assistant Qualification (Desirable but not essential)
  • Maths and English GCSE or equivalent
  • Relevant teaching assistant, care or education based experience (Voluntary experience included)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
Responsibilities:
  • Working, supporting and teaching learners on a 1:1 with additional needs as a training teacher
  • Supporting with a learning plan for the learner
  • Assisting the child to reach learning objectives
