Job Description:Royal Ocean Marine is seeking a Junior Shipbroker to join our client's team. As a Junior Shipbroker, you will focus on the chemical tanker market and play a crucial role in supporting our brokerage activities. This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual who is passionate about the maritime industry and eager to develop a career in shipbroking.Responsibilities:

Assist Senior Shipbrokers in market research and analysis
Identify and explore potential business opportunities in the chemical tanker market
Support in the negotiation and execution of charter contracts
Maintain relationships with clients, charterers, and other stakeholders
Provide excellent customer service and assist clients with their chartering needs
Prepare market reports and presentations
Stay updated on market trends, industry news, and regulatory changes affecting the chemical tanker market

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Business, or a related field
Previous experience in a shipbroking role or internship is advantageous
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders
Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively
Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow in the shipbroking industry
Operation in chemical tankers operation or chartering or shipbrokering is an added advantage
