Cash Desk Assistant | Dublin 11 | Temp to Perm OpportunityThe Client: Located in Dublin 11, our client is a leading supplier to the retail industry and has a well established presence in Ireland. They are currently experiencing growth in the market with and due to an increase in business, they are seeking to appoint a Cash Desk Assistant for their wholesale business.The Role: As a Cash Desk Assistant, you will be required to effectively manage key customer relationships, develop business relationships and provide daily administrative support to the department. This is a busy, varied role with scope for career progression and development opportunities.Working hours: Monday to Friday - 8am - 4.30pm | Occasional Saturdays - 9am-1pmThe main duties will include:

Handling all customer queries in a timely and professional manner
Process customer transactions, ensuring efficiency at all times
Process customer orders on internal systems and ensure orders are fulfilled within agreed timeframes
Ensure compliance and quality standards are adhered to at all times
Provide product knowledge to customers (training provided)
Monitoring and investigating shortages on the cash desk
Provide support to various departments on a regular basis
Work individually and as a team to achieve targets

Skills/Experience required:

Educated to Leaving Certificate level
The ideal candidates will have previous experience in a customer service environment ideally with cash handling experience
Experience in retail or FMCG sector an advantage
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to achieve results in a busy, target driven environment
Strong computer skills including MS Office
Flexibility in approach to working arrangements

In return:

Salary €26k, increasing to €28.5k after 6 months
