- Lead, guide, coach, and manage several operations managers.
- Lead and manage teams of analysts, developers, and engineers.
- Help with decision-making or make decisions and participate actively in their implementation.
- Lead projects on data-driven storytelling and responsible AI through analytics, dashboards and data visualisation.
- Assist managers in the planning and prioritisation of projects, and backlog processing across the department.
- Have a strong governance in place to drive activities optimally.
- Identify and lead people development initiatives.
- Animate the collective by promoting a facilitating and cooperative work environment.
- Take ownership of the strategy and make it available to the teams by giving meaning.
- Develop performance on its scope of activity and contribute to that of its environment.
- Transition and implement activities at MSC IOO sites.
- Lead the release plans and set expectations for delivery of new products and functionalities.
- Solve product-related problems, make decisions, complete trade-off analysis to stay on track towards business deliverable commitments.
- Be a facilitator or mediator in high-stakes situations.
- Manage crises and integrate them into their everyday actions and decisions.
- Have at least 10 years of work experience in Data & Analytics, BI, AI, and automation.
- Have at least 5 years of project management skills.
- Solid previous experiences in leading and managing people within multiple teams.
- At least a university degree in an IT related field.
- Deep understanding of team management, people management, stakeholder management and risk management.
- Understanding of business values and communicating accordingly.
- Experience in using JIRA and ticketing systems.
- Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Well organised with excellent planning skills.
- Process oriented person.
- Have an open mindset to propose data process improvements and initiatives.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to effectively manage conflicting needs of stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and developing relationships with team members and customers.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English and French, both written and spoken.
