Construction Estimator

• Lead project management efforts, ensuring seamless execution from inception to completion with clear communication and understanding of all details.
• Perform thorough takeoffs based on provided plans, meticulously analyzing architectural blueprints to generate comprehensive estimates and Scope of Work (SOW) documents.
• Compile detailed material lists, leveraging multiple vendors to secure competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery, while managing all associated purchase orders.
• Cultivate strong vendor relationships, meticulously selecting suppliers and ensuring materials meet specified codes and quality standards.
• Coordinate and track deliveries, maintaining constant communication with site managers to align with project timelines seamlessly.
• Facilitate weekly status updates through effective communication channels, coordinating with internal teams, and managing documentation using Microsoft Office suite.

• Proficiency with ConX or similar takeoff software, along with familiarity with QuickBooks, CAD software, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• A robust understanding of construction documents and the ability to interpret architectural plans with precision.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage internal communications effectively.
• Demonstrated capability to work autonomously and shepherd projects from conception to completion.
