On behalf of our client, a leading player in the Energy market, we are conducting a search to hire an experienced Trader to join their Dublin team.The Role:

Maximising the economic benefit from trading the power and gas positions.

Making timely commercial decisions based on available real time information and informed judgement.

Dispatch generation portfolio in the optimal manner.

Manage interactions with stations, other market participants and other functions within the organisation.
Shift work will be a feature of this role.

Requirements

5+ years experience in power and gas trading across ISEM,UK or other jurisdictions.
Highly analytical, numerical and strong communication skills are essential.

Excellent timely decision skills and strong judgement are essential.

Strong ability to adapt quickly to dynamic trading and operating systems conditions.

Candidates must be living and working in the Republic of Ireland.
