- Monitor the email for the accounts payable department and make sure the invoices are registered into the ERP-system and if any answer is needed for the emails that is taken care of either by answering or forwarding to the correct recipient.
- Monitor Data Capture to interpret incoming Accounts payable invoices so the correct data is interpreted, and the invoice is forwarded to correct entity in the ERP-system.
- Register incoming invoices on correct accounts and dimensions based on the companies' Chart of Account.
- Keep up to date on VAT rules in the countries in which Outpost24 operates.
- Post supplier invoices after they have been approved.
- Pay supplier invoices and approving other payments as a second approver.
- Bank entries in ERP-system and reconciling the accounts.
- Manual journal bookings.
- Monthly bookings and helping with closing the books, including reconciling the accounts.
- Maintain the Vendor Master data register.
- Assist the rest of the finance team when needed in other accounting tasks that may occur from time to time.
- Assist and preparing documents for VAT-declarations.
- Communicate with auditors and delivering materials required from the auditors regarding the processes that the Junior Accountant is responsible for.
- Basic knowledge in accounting.
- You are thorough, accurate and organized.
- Strong organizational skills, able to adapt to new and unusual situations, including changing conditions and priorities.
- Good communication skills in both Swedish and English. Spanish and/or French are considered an advantage.
- Service minded.
- Analytical skills to assess results and being able to communicate changes or adapting processes for continuous improvement.
