With more than 30 brands, 12,000+ employees globally and products sold in 130 countries, we specialize in security around the doorway and beyond.Summary:The Industrial Process Engineer is responsible to analyze internal manufacturing processes, identify wastes and inefficiencies, drive improvement actions, increase productivity, maintain quality standards and reduce costs. He/She collaborates very closely with Manufacturing, Maintenance and Quality departments, supporting new projects and technological upgrades to comply with product specifications and meet customer needs.We are looking for a junior engineer with an excellent academy background.Duties and responsibilities
  • Implement and maintain master data, routing, BOMs
  • Implement and maintain standard operations along all the production processes and assembly lines
  • Participate into projects to increase plant productivity and develop new processes
  • Participate into value stream analysis through kaizen events and implementation of lean projects to improve on time delivery, 5S, compliance to safety norms, adherence to cost objectives.
  • Maintain production standards and work on opportunities to improve operations efficiency (cycle times, productivity, space utilization, shop floor and line design, etc)
  • Among other tasks, he will work on the implementation and usage of the following tools and processes:
  • Standard Specification for Purchased Equipment and tools
  • Standard Work to achieve best cost, quality and performance
  • Plant Layout and/or Process Change
  • OEE and utilization
  • Total Productive/Preventive Maintenance, for Equipment and Tools
  • 5S
  • Takt time
  • Basic Problem Solving
  • Process document procedures for process specs, control plans
  • NPD checklist for Manufacturing Engineering
Qualifications
  • Engineering degree required (Mechanical or related fields)
  • English Fluent, speaking and writing
Key competencies
  • Strong ability to get the work done within targets, time and budget
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with internal and external colleagues
  • Project management
  • Knowledge on lean methodologies preferred
  • Technical knowledge on re-design of production and assembly processes preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving attitude
