Our mission is to deliver cyber excellence for all our clients.CyXcel is led from London but undertakes a broad range of substantial, challenging work around the world for private, public and third sector organisations, insurers and their policyholders, as well as government departments and the emergency services.The CyXcel Managing Consultant role will provide the candidate with the opportunity to serve as an expert advisor to clients across industry verticals, offering strategic guidance on cybersecurity management. The following activities will be part of the Managing Consultant's day-to-day responsibilities, however these may vary as the industry and associated technology is complex and constantly changing:
  • Manage all day-to-day activities for project delivery including progress updates, deliverable coordination and quality assurance of work produced by engagement teams.
  • Manage project onboarding processes such as due diligence, contract, and resource requirement activities to ensure alignment to client timelines and objectives.
  • Conduct thorough assessments to measure client cyber posture and develop detailed reports outlining prioritised opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients on delivery engagements by understanding needs and identifying opportunities for consulting services.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to delivery teams to ensure high-quality outputs and client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide training exercises to key stakeholders on project delivery teams to expand existing knowledge of cybersecurity controls and manage delivery requirements.
  • Provide recommendations for implementing cybersecurity frameworks, policies and technologies tailored to the needs of the business and industry regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the development of service offering materials for CyXcel and lead cross functional teams for service delivery based on scope as well as complexity.
  • Participate in internal service offering development workshops with key functional teams across Weightmans to drive pipeline growth and opportunity management.
  • Develop proposals, resourcing plans and project programmes with a knowledge of team expertise as well as technology controls in the client environment.
