Data Engineer - Google Cloud Platform, Kafka, AirflowAn exciting start up casino operator is looking for a Data Engineer to operate and maintain their data pipeline, in a fully remote position.The primary focus for the Data Engineering team is delivering a seamless GCP-based Data platform, employing efficient pipelines and advanced data streaming techniques using Kafka and orchestration with Airflow.They are looking for a driven, proactive Data Engineer who thrives in collaborative environments.This role presents an opportunity for professional growth and skill development, particularly in GCP and AWS services, Kafka, Airflow, and more. You'll acquire invaluable and transferable skills while expanding your technical expertise.Location
Remote. You will be working on a B2B setup so its important that you are already set up as a contractorSalary
EUR 45-65,000 depending on skills and experienceKey Responsibilities:
● Lead the development, and maintenance of the Data Warehouse
● Collaborate on the project for GCP Data Services
● Construct efficient ETL processes and robust data pipelines
● Oversee data streaming with Kafka and orchestration with AirflowSkills & Experience:
● Proficient in SQL and Python programming
● Expertise in designing and implementing ETL processes and data pipelines
● Prior experience with Google Cloud Platform services, Kafka, and Airflow is highly
desirable
● Experience with Tableau is highly desirable
