Brush up your skills in Photoshop & Illustrator
Illustrator tools - Pen tool, Gradient, Pathfinder, Blending modes, type on path, rotate and reflect, mesh tool, selection tool, etc.
Photoshop tools change the color of the background, remove selection, pen tool etc.
Make sure to revise to recreate curves, nodes smooth while doing vectorisation.
Try making some logo designs, work on the curves & texture.
