A leading Meath-based European transport company is now seeking an experienced Business Development/Commercial Manager. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be tasked with developing new, profitable business in line with agreed targets.Key Responsibilities:

Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
Arranging business development meetings with prospective clients
Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives
Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support
Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers

Minimum Requirements:

Minimum 2 years proven sales experience as a business development manager or sales executive selling European Transport services to the Irish market
Proven sales track record
Experience in customer support is a plus
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
Proficiency in English
Market knowledge (Customers & Competitors)
Communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build rapport
Time management and planning skills
