Sales in 2016/17 were approximately 37 billion Euro.Job DescriptionPeople & Culture Operations
  • Proactively implement People &Culture strategy and provide feedback for necessary modifications and standards.
  • Monitor and control new hires ensuring compliance with the already set and approved annual manpower plan and headcount.
  • Carryout all the operations related to employee’s attendance, leaves, Provident Fund, promotions, transfers, grievances, employees record, etc.
  • Effectively serve as a change leader by supporting Sr. Head of Ops and Store Managers.

  • Living the METRO Fundamentals and Facilitate a productive work environment that fosters high performance & customer centric approach while providing an exciting & rewarding place to work.
People Policies & Practices
  • Deploy local policies & practices to enforce company culture.
  • Manage disciplinary issues while ensuring compliance to country labour law and company compliance guidelines.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders on People &Culture related matters to ensure necessary support and seamless business operations.
Talent Management & Development
  • Actively engage with stakeholders to define learning interventions to enhance defined capabilities.
  • Labor market monitoring, understanding the trends, drawing relevant conclusions and recommendations that impact our talent strategy.
  • Ensure proper implementation of performance management system and provide the necessary facilitation and support during exercise.
Talent Acquisition
  • Ongoing talent scanning within company and external market to identify talent pools for critical roles based on people discussions and estimated candidates’ trends.
  • Maintaining relationships with external talent in a way that keeps them engaged. Leverages 3rd parties – student forums, recruitment providers and job fair.
  • Running /organizing interview process including candidates’ selection with hiring managers and offer placement.
  • Support and up skill line managers in the talent acquisition process and in interviewing skills.
Total Rewards
  • Facilitate Comp & Ben team to prepare the payroll on monthly bases.
QualificationsUniversity degree, preferably in Human Resource Management.Additional InformationMinimum 5-6 years’ experience in HR with generalist HR / HRBP role.
