It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!Job DescriptionAs a QA Manager, you will work closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, and SDETs to deliver high quality software reliably. You will:
- Be a champion for testing strategies and execution
- Be required to create, prioritize, implement, and maintain test plans. You will have end-to-end ownership of the testing processes & and
frameworks for our applications
- Be required to have knowledge of industry-standard test automation tools and experience in developing product test
harnesses and instrumenting products to gather test results
- Need to acquire contextual breadth and depth in the product domain and manage stakeholders' expectations
- Mentor a team of QAs, growing and empowering them to achieve the organization's objectivesRequirements- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in test automation within an agile team
- At least 2 years of technical leadership experience
- Good understanding of QA practices: black box, white box testing; risk-based testing, regression, and exploratory testing
- Solid understanding of software quality best practices and processes
- Experience with web technologies (REST, JSON, etc.)
- Good understanding of code versioning and build/deploy tools, e.g. git, Jenkins, etc
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) in order to communicate technically with fellow engineers, architects, and other members
of the QA group
- Curiosity to explore creative solutions and try new things to solve challenging problems to pull it all together into a user-accepted solution
