- Preparing meals as ordered;
- Responsible for the preparation of all food items ensuring a high standard of taste, temperature and preparation;
- Assists in the preparation of several parts of a major meal by mixing and stirring, ladling, adjusting heat, etc.;
- Prepares breakfasts on an independent basis by cooking eggs and meat, and preparing cereals, coffee and similar items;
- Directs subordinates, and/or other helpers in dishing foods, preparing portions, serving, and cleaning work areas and utensils, and personally participate in such tasks when required;
- Performs other related work as required;
- Prepares his mise-en-place for next day;
- Assists with another station as assigned by the Chef de Partie;
- Collects store items as required from the main kitchen;
- Cleans and maintains kitchen equipment and reports any repair or maintenance needed.
- Develop and maintain positive and productive working relationships with other employees and departments;
- Partner with and assist others to promote an environment of teamwork and achieve common goals;
- Support all co-workers and treat them with dignity and respect;
- Handle sensitive issues with employees and/or members/guests with tact, respect, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
- Follow company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure a clean, safe, and secure environment.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary materials and information.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested.
- F&B and kitchen passion and guest orientation;
- Must be highly organized, efficient and detail oriented;
- Must have excellent interpersonal/relationship building skills;
- You will be able demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in English and local language, if required.
