- Provide HR counsel and support across the business on all ‘people’ related matters.
- Manage the HR function day-to-day, providing support, advice, and guidance.
- Consistently evaluate and enhance all HR processes, practices, and systems to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.
- Drive succession planning initiatives, fostering talent development, and facilitating seamless internal transitions to maximise organisational potential.
- Collaborate closely with our talent acquisition specialist and hiring managers to uphold best practices, consistently elevating standards in recruitment, training, and retention efforts.
- Champion a performance culture which supports continued employee development.
- Provide advice on all areas of Employee Relations, including disciplinary, absence management, flexible working, performance management, right to work and grievances.
- Ensure all policies and procedures are compliant and proactively communicate potential changes to senior leadership, being clear on what they could mean to the business.
- Liaise with the senior leadership team to ascertain, plan and manage the HR budget.
- Collaborate with our external immigration partner to ensure compliance with right-to-work regulations across all new hires.
- Implement and analyse HR metrics, to empower both business and HR decision-making, encompassing employee retention, engagement, salary benchmarking, and DEI.
- Deploy efficient methods for collecting employee feedback, including surveys and focus groups. Develop a strategic framework in accordance with the requirements of prestigious programs like 'The Times Best Companies', leveraging internal feedback to inform and shape decision-making processes.
- Coordinate access to tailored training programs, ongoing support and valuable resources, to help first-time managers build confidence and cultivate strong leadership abilities.
- CIPD qualified, minimum Level 5.
- HR generalist, highly experienced in Employee Relations and conflict resolution.
- Strong knowledge of advanced HR best practice, compliance, procedures, and up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law.
- Proficient in developing, implementing, and periodically updating HR policies and procedures, tailored to the needs of the business.
- The confidence to both guide and challenge high level stakeholders, always prioritising best practise.
- Experience managing payroll, benefits, and compliance.
- Demonstrate high emotional intelligence, you are recognised for your superior organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- You understand the importance of company culture, deeply care about people and business needs, and maintain a can-do attitude no matter the challenge.
- You champion a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the HR function.
- Exceptional communication and listening skills, ability to engage and influence at all levels.
- Pragmatic and solutions oriented, you are personable, friendly, and approachable.
- High attention to detail and ability to prioritise and manage workloads effectively.
- Experience working with global employees (UK/EU/US) is beneficial.
