Our passion for innovation, a pioneering spirit and the unique Puratos culture drive our solid growth and vision for the future This, along with our commitment to our local communities, is what makes working at Puratos so magical.To strengthen our team in our factory in Tire, Izmir, we are looking for:Production Manager(Izmir, Turkey)Reporting directly to the Vice President, Operations, the Production Manager is a member of the Operations leadership team and is responsible for establishing the direction and providing the leadership for the Production Department. The successful individual will be responsible for delivering a strong and robust operational excellence to ensure a balanced delivery against the strategic Quality, Cost, Delivery, HSE, and People pillars.Your Mission

Preparing production plans with Planning department, managing the production effectively and controlling the system entries of daily productions in SAP
Ensuring the food safety as a key accountability with Quality department under Quality procedures
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment by educating and directing personnel on the use of all control points, equipment, and resources, maintaining compliance with established policies and procedures, and developing timely corrective actions for all non-compliant situations
Preparing monthly production reports and monitoring the raw materials' consumptions
Following OEE results, making plans to improve them and leading process improvement projects
Supervise and evaluate the performance of production employees, provide feedback, set goals, perform coaching, hold direct reports accountable and create development plans
Leading Manufacturing pillar in Operational Excellence Program

What we expect from you

Bachelor's degree in Food/Industrial Engineering, Master's degree is preferred
Minimum 6 years relevant experience in operations with at least 3 years in a managerial role experience in a production/operations environment
Demonstrated use of Continuous Improvement, TQM, and/or Lean tools including six sigma, kaizen, etc.
Must have a proven track record of driving performance in production departments including capacity increases, productivity improvement, and workforce optimization
Good knowledge in spreadsheets, databases, and presentations including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Experience working with SAP
Business fluent English
