- Complete assessments for hazardous materials, indoor air quality (IAQ), designated substances and workplace exposures
- Conduct interviews with clients regarding building history and site-specific client concerns
- Perform inspections and evaluate building systems and materials
- Assess building damages related to floods, water losses, smoke and fire
- Use various types of equipment to record measurements and collect samples
- Identify and sample suspect asbestos, lead, and PCB-containing materials
- Interpret laboratory results
- Prepare detailed reports documenting findings and providing recommendations to address concerns
- Inspect abatement and restoration contractors undertaking mould, asbestos and other hazardous materials remediation work to document that the work has been properly completed.
- Collect and analyze Phase Contract Microscope (PCM) asbestos air samples
- Maintain and enhance quality control within the group
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships
- Consulting industry experience is considered an asset.
- Experience with building construction or maintenance is an asset.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- High attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license, insurance and a personal vehicle required.
- Availability to travel to clients’ sites throughout Saskatchewan
- Availability to work outside of core business hours (occasional evening and weekends)
