An exciting opportunity has risen for an outstanding Data Scientist to join our RCG Data Analytics team at our office in the centre of Athens. About the role We are currently seeking a to join our data Analytics team. In this role, you will be instrumental in analyzing complex data sets to develop data-driven insights and models, supporting the development of new and enhanced tools. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in STEM, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in data science or a related field. Proficiency in Python, including pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and scikit-learn. Experience with machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling techniques. Knowledge in designing and implementing data solutions. Experience in database management with a strong preference for candidates with PostgreSQL and NoSQL experience. Familiarity with geospatial data. Experience with Docker and other containerization and orchestration tools. Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) such as GPT, BERT, and other transformer architectures for natural language processing and generation tasks. Practical experience in developing and deploying generative models in a production environment is highly desirable. Responsibilities: Data Analysis and Statistical Modeling: Develop and refine statistical models to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and solve complex problems. Machine Learning: Design, test, and deploy machine learning models to enhance product offerings, using both supervised and unsupervised learning techniques. Data Management and Curation: Oversee the collection, storage, and organization of data to ensure quality, security, and accessibility. Data Application Development: Design and develop robust data applications that enable seamless interaction with large datasets, facilitating the extraction, transformation, and loading of data. Cloud Computing: Utilize cloud services (preferably GCP) to deploy, manage, and scale machine learning solutions effectively. Generative AI and LLM Implementation: contribute to the development and integration of generative AI models and large language models into existing and new product lines to enhance creative and linguistic capabilities. Innovative AI Solutions: Explore and implement cutting-edge AI technologies to generate text, images, or other media to support diverse business functions from marketing to customer engagement.
