This exciting opportunity is for an experienced Finance Professional to take on the role of the Head of the Financial Accounting and Reporting.Your role will be to reporting into the Chief Financial Officer, delivering robust and timely financial information to support appropriate decision making. You will play a key role in the Finance function and engagement with senior stakeholders within the business.Leads the timely and accurate preparation of weekly, monthly and quarterly management accountsLeads the month-end close processPreparation of the annual financial statements for the business including managing the external auditLeads the forecasting, budgeting and strategic planning process around income, costs, balance sheet and cash flow accountingLeads on tax matters including VAT compliance and filingManages the Finance team to meet all reporting requirementsDrives continuous improvement and standardisation of processes and controlsSupports strategic internal projects to support the company's growth strategiesBuilds relationships and work with internal and external stakeholders including auditors, consultants, bankers, and other third partiesRole requirements:A qualified accountant with at least 5 years post qualification experienceIFRS and UK GAAPSuperior attention to detail & organisational skills, and able to meet deadlines efficientlyPossess strong people management skills/experience and the ability to develop team membersStrong stakeholder and project management skillsPassionate and results driven with high sense of pride in delivering a high service to stakeholdersExperience of playing similar roles in the retail industry will be an advantageAbility to work under pressure and to tight deadlinesTo apply for this role please:Apply online or email or call us on 02070386600Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
