Our team is responsible for preparing journal entries and the month-end balance sheet reconciliations for entities in the APAC region. During your internship you will get exposure to:Month end accounting - Journal entries and Balance Sheet reconciliationsRecord fixed asset dispositions in our Oracle ERP systemDrafting year end financial statementsRollforward workpapers for the new fiscal yearCorresponding with financial auditorsPerforming analysis of financial information including the Profit & LossSupporting process improvement tasksPlease note: in this role you will be supporting our finance team with Year End preparation, this means that you will be expected to work in between the Christmas / New Year dates excluding public holidays.What Skills and Experience You Should BringPursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance or similar at a New Zealand UniversityExcellent written and verbal communication skills.Knowledge of Excel/Google SheetsEfficiency to effectively meet tight deadlinesFlexible approach to working in a changing environment and can work well under pressureAbility to analyze data and suggest conclusions/recommendations to othersAttention to detailCuriosity and willingness to learnAbout Your LocationBased at Trimble’s main campus in Christchurch, New Zealand you will love our outstanding culture.At Trimble, you'll find the inspiration and opportunity to be yourself and thrive.
