- Oversight of breaches being appropriately identified, investigated, and reported and ensure timely corrective action is taken when breaches are detected
- Identify all appropriate external regulatory and compliance frameworks relevant to financial services and apply or implement as relevant to facilitate compliance of breach reporting obligations
- Lead change initiatives in compliance matters, taking ownership of implementation.
- Oversee local compliance requirements, policies, and internal guidelines.
- Contribute to compliance strategy and plan execution, aligning with business objectives.
- Provide proactive compliance advice to meet QBE's regulatory and conduct obligations, managing regulatory risk effectively by providing advice that is consistent with regulator and ombudsman expectations.
