- To review and approve annual tax return
- To review and discuss transfer pricing studies performed by external advisors,
- To coordinate the VAT re-certification process.
- To review and approve deferred income tax calculation as required by head office.
Continuous improvement and review current processes.
- Lead process improvement initiatives in coordination with the finance manager and other areas.
Other activities
- - To be the main contact between the company and external auditors for financial and tax audits.
- To review weekly cash forecast as required by head office,- To support finance manager in month end close related activities.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance related areas (master’s degree is a plus).
- 4 years of experience in a public accounting firm, preferable in the tax field.
- 5 years of experience in a Maquiladora company in a supervising position.
- Bilingual English/Spanish, French is a plus.
- SAP ECC knowledge desirable
- Infor Triton CSI knowledge is a plus.
- Availability to travel (twice a year).
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Strong Microsoft Excel knowledge
