The NEU Collective is currently seeking a skilful professional who is able to perform the general maintenance and repairs of the facilities and smooth daily running of the premises. Responsibilities: • Conducting thorough routine inspections of premises and equipment to ensure safety and functionality. • Performing scheduled preventative maintenance tasks on various building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical • Proficient in analysing and repairing issues such as broken locks, ensuring security protocols are maintained • Regularly checking control panels and conducting assessments of basic electrical wiring to identify and address potential issues promptly. • Handling a variety of basic repairs and maintenance tasks to uphold the integrity and appearance of the property. • Utilizing diagnostic skills to identify and effectively correct mechanical issues, minimizing downtime and disruptions. • Ensuring consistent upkeep of the premises, including cleaning, organizing, and addressing any structural concerns • Skilled in plastering and painting to maintain or enhance the aesthetics of interior and exterior surfaces. • Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and cleanliness of pools, including water quality management and equipment upkeep. • Promptly responding to room calls, addressing guest or tenant concerns and resolving issues efficiently The potential candidate will ideally possess the following skills and qualities: - Excellent command of the English language; other languages would be an asset. - Previous experience in a similar role required. - Attention to detail and a positive attitude towards fellow team members, and guests. - Able to work shift duties, including evenings, nights, weekends and / or holidays.ProfilesIf multiple Education and Language Profiles are defined, please note that you must fit at least one of them, but not necessarily all.Competencies
