- Help to build the logistics strategy for Indonesia's operation from scratch.
- Create and recommend optimal multi-modal origin factory shipping lanes by balancing cost and lead times to meet fast, normal, delayed and merge in transit business scenarios.
- Plans and schedules for work assignments in order to ensure cost efficiency and technical delivery on departmental level
- Maintain accurate inventory records and track stock levels to ensure optimal availability.
- Monitor and manage order fulfillment KPIs to optimize performance.
- Ensures execution of logistics activities to comply with business units specific requirements for cost, time, quality and risk minimization, including global compliance to import, export and customs requirements
- Ensures engagement in regional and global initiatives as well as running local activities in alignment with Group Procurement and achieves savings effectiveness through compliance to implemented regional and global category initiatives
- Prepares or gives input to annual local budgets when necessary in order to secure sufficient resources to achieve agreed objectives and conducts regular budget follow-up
- Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field (e.g., Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management)
- Strong knowledge of transportation policy and governing laws.
- Experience managing teams, ideally teams across the APAC region.
- Strong proficiency in reading and writing English, fluent speaking English.
- Focuses on delivering results on medium term tactics and operational targets within own functional area
