We are seeking a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our team. The DevOps Engineer will participate in the creation, maintenance, and optimization of infrastructure, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems. You will be responsible for developing and deploying software, managing data center operations, and working with our software developers to streamline our operations and processes.Responsibilities:
  • Architect, develop, and maintain an scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure.
  • Use your skills and expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and Microservices Deployment create to and implement cutting-edge software solutions.
  • Manage CI/CD tools with team to improve and optimize software engineering practices.
  • Deploy applications in a cross-platform environment with Harness, Jenkins, WebSphere, and MQ.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our infrastructure and systems, including Windows and Server Linux Server, to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Assist with the deployment of COBOL applications and work with Mainframe Tandem as necessary.
  • Participate in problem solving and troubleshooting in the live production environment.
  • Collaborate with the software engineering team to discuss, analyze, or resolve usability issues.
  • Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines).
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues ensuring high availability.
Qualifications:
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role.
  • Strong experience with LightSpeed, Kubernetes, Docker, and Microservices Deployment.
  • Knowledge of Harness, Jenkins, WebSphere, and MQ.
  • Proficiency with Windows Server and Linux Server.
  • Familiarity with COBOL applications and Mainframe Tandem is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and to ability manage complex systems with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
