EURECA-PRO derives its name from Sustainable Development Goal 12 (Responsible consumption and production) of the United Nations, the systematic implementation of which, in education, research, innovation and society, is at the core of EURECA-PRO's goals, strategies, and activities. EURECA-PRO long-term vision is to be leader in education, research and innovation in responsible consumption and production of goods and resources; and to be a European role model for inter-university cooperation across borders and the open integration of society.Job descriptionThe recruited person will provide operational support to the Université de Lorraine's education officers in order to develop the EURECA-PRO alliance's education offer, prioritising the field of SDG12. The Head of international education programs development will be part of the "project" team that organises the UL's contribution to the EURECA-PRO alliance. He/she will work in close collaboration with the members of the UL team, in particular the education officers, and the partners. He/she will report to the local European University Project Manager.MissionsMission 1: Internationalise UL current training offer on SDG12-related topic:
- Map the UL's training courses linked to SDG12, coordinating with faculties and other internal departments and projects. This includes the collection, labelling, ensuring consistency and formatting of data: SDG 12 consistency, campus, subject area, degree level, precise monthly timetable, grain [course, module, pathway/mention, degree], associated ECTS, stacking possibilities in a consistent way;
- Link, make connection and synergize the UL courses identified with the courses offered by the partners.
- Identify and taylor appropriate teaching methods (e.g. Problem-Based Learning activities) or teaching format (Summer Schools, Lectures Series, MOOCs) within UL that can be shared with alliance partners (type of activity, timing, accessibility, etc.);
- Analyse the need to design or adapt teaching content;
- Arrange cooperative work between faculties and the relevant departments for projects implementation;
- Organize the alignment with the partners of the alliance to jointly design teaching grains, from modules to comprehensive work programmes;
- Assist with project content development: mobilising human and logistical resources, supporting implementation, coordinating the stakeholders (UL departments), mobilising the partners’ departments.
- Develop an approach to promote courses (marketing), to reinforce attractiveness;
- Develop communication contents to attract talented students in conjunction with the UL Communication Department and the Communication and Dissemination Centre of the EURECAPRO alliance;
- Contribute to define joint selection criteria and to the selection of candidates to EURECA-PRO study programs;
- Contribute to develop a joint programme framework, which includes credit transfer and recognition, at several grains;
- Develop a joint quality assurance approach of educational activities, in compliance with European standards.
- Contributing to draw up specifications;
- Coordinate the implementation of the ELLA activities. Related activity: promoting inward and outward mobility for student training;
- Contribute to defining the alliance's overall mobility strategy;
- Liaise with the alliance's partners to set up collaborations (agreements, joint training courses or activities);
- Engage Faculties and teachers to establish mobility agreements with partners.
- Minimum required diploma: MSc. or equivalent.
- French Higher Education and Research;
