- Managing day-to-day accounting operations that include AR, AP, GL, petty cash, and Bank Reconciliation.
- Assist in preparing full set accounts during month-end and year-end closing.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation, analysis and reporting of monthly accounting.
- Liaise with internal and external parties on accounting and payment matters.
- Ensure timely and accurate expense tracking, payment processing and payment receipt.
- Responsible for controlling the company's cash flow and updating the Manager promptly.
- Ensure all documents received are checked, validated and matched accordingly.
- Maintain complete updated Intercompany records in the system.
- Handle Fixed Assets management and depreciation for the company.
- Prepare monthly management reports.
- Assist the Manager in preparing special reports required by the Management.
- Liaise with external auditor, tax agent, banker, and company secretary.
- Degree/Diploma in Accounting. ACCA/CPA is an added advantage.
- Local Malaysian with a minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in a Construction company.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills.
