- Attend scheduled client intake meetings with Video Production Manager and Client Specialist. Provide creative input during initial intake meetings and brainstorming sessions.
- Lead the project by assigning and assisting the production team in developing. pre-production plans through storyboards, A/V scripts, shot lists, floor plans, scripts, pitch decks etc., all while complying with the client’s style guidelines.
- As lead, take the initial review of the pre-production documents then proceed to forward to the Video Production Manager for final approval.
- Attend assigned productions in the studio or in the field.
- Taking on a department leadership role on production and willing to delegate appropriate tasks to the department crew members.
- Creating and managing equipment check out lists for each production.
- Operate production equipment as needed: Cameras, lighting, audio.
- Assistance in maintenance and organization of equipment: (camera, lighting, audio).
- Managing a full equipment inspection after each production (ensuring all equipment is in its proper case and maintaining quality control).
- Take on as the lead video editor on a project.
- Delegate the assistant editor tasks to the interns.
- Assist the other interns with technical tutorials as needed: ( 3 point edits, color correction).
- Assist Staff with creating and editing content per project needs.
- Edit rough cuts with interviews, additional footage, audio and other assets.
- Edit the final color grading and audio mix of all client and internal projects.
- As the lead, take the initial review of each edit for approval then proceed to send it to the Video Production Manager for final approval.
- Maintaining and archiving project media according to pre-set folder structure.
- Attend Lead Video Sync check in meetings with the Video Production Manager to update the progress on client projects.
- Lead and guide a team of general interns.
- Log work and progress on project management (PM) software such as Asana and customer relationship management (CRM) software such as Salesforce, if necessary.
- Communicate across-teams through email, chat and in-person.
- Attend meetings and participate in critiques.
- Collaborate with staff members from other departments, as necessary.
- Attend and actively participate in client meetings.
- Participate in applicable certification programs, workshops, and courses for continued skill development.
- Participate in the Mentorship Program.
- Seek and participate in professional development activities and share with the intern cohort.
- Support the onboarding process for new interns during seasonal transitions.
- College seniors or recent graduates majoring in Cinematic Arts, Film and Media Arts, or related fields. Self-taught individuals are welcome if they can demonstrate their knowledge and proficiency in video production.
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of camera operation.
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of audio recording.
- Intermediate to Advanced knowledge of lighting for video or photo.
- Intermediate knowledge of Adobe Premier Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Intermediate knowledge of color correction or color grading (Premier Pro or DaVinci).
- Proficient in GoogleDocs or other word processing applications.
- Proficient in project management.

- In-person participation at one of the Digital NEST sites.
