An exciting opportunity has become available for a locum pharmacist with excellent professional service skills for a locum position in Queensland.This is the perfect role for a registered pharmacist looking to broaden their experience and develop their skills across a range of pharmacy sites in QueenslandABOUT STAR PHARMACY GROUPStar Pharmacy Group has been helping Australians be happier and healthier everyday for over 30 years. We operate more than 60 pharmacies across multiple brands including Star Discount Chemist, Priceline and Independent stores throughout Queensland, South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.ABOUT THE ROLEThe person we are seeking will be an experienced and qualified Pharmacist who enjoys the opportunity to travel and work as a permanent full time relieving Pharmacist Manager across our stores. This role is based in Brisbane with travel opportunities predominantly in QLD and NSW.You must be focussed, adaptable and flexible to work in a variety of stores, have a good handle on dispensing prescriptions, engaging with customers, providing staff direction and resolving day to day business issues.This position will be based in Queensland, however, there will be interstate travel from time to time on an as needed basis. Travel allowances will be paid.The successful applicant will be a positive individual who can contribute to the success of the pharmacy. Prior experience in a similar role and the ability to demonstrate leadership and initiative will be a key component of this role.This role provides a unique opportunity for a results oriented, customer service focussed person with great customer engagement and business delivery techniques.VALUED ATTRIBUTES:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Current registration as a Pharmacist with the Pharmacy Board of Australia (AHPRA)
Current police clearance or willing to obtain one
Prior experience managing a community pharmacy
Proven experience with 7CPA professional pharmacy practice programs
Experience with Dose Administration Aids (DAAs) and compliance with pharmacy regulations
Familiarity working with key performance indicators
Experience with budgets, wages and gross profit margin management
Familiarity with Minfos Dispense and POS highly regarded
