- Collaborate with the Group HR and General Manager to strategically plan and execute HR initiatives that benefit the company and encourage more efficient and effective work from employees.
- Continually educate employees on company policies (including appropriate dress, attendance, onboarding, etc.) and keep the employee handbook current
- Monitor employee progress and stay abreast of company climate and culture, ensuring it stays positive and productive.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve company goals.
- Coordinate performance evaluations and provide feedback to employees.
- Handle employee relations and resolve any workplace conflicts or issues.
- Develop employee recognition and rewards programs.
- Manage and resolve employee complaints and grievances.
- Provide HR support and guidance to managers and employees
- Providing support around enforcement of company policy, procedures, and employee disciplinary issues.
- Proper management of the exit process through ensuring the filling of relevant exit forms and documentation facilitates processing entitlements.
- Coordinating and handling orientation, induction, and training of new employees. Filling out the Onboarding Checklist and updating all necessary databases.
- Foster cross-functional relationships and ensure managers and employees are properly connected
- Oversee recruitment and selection processes, including sourcing, interviewing, and hiring new employees.
- Stay updated on changes in work legislation and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Assess training needs and coordinate learning and development initiatives for all employees
