Near TV is looking for a Sound Recordist to work on productions including documentary, magazine style programmes, community profiles as well as live programmes using a range of recording devices and microphones to capture both on-location and Outside Broadcast sound. The role would also involve elements of production assistant work. Neartv engages with community groups in North Dublin with a focus on encouraging community development through media. We are looking for someone with strong self-motivation who is interested in developing their skills, with good interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well on teams. Other tasks include: Assist with pre-production of shoots, call sheets, making contacts, location permissions etc. as required. Assist with the day-to-day office duties at NearTV as required Assist in the quick turnaround of filmed events in the locality for DCTV (Virgin 802) Any experience in Website design would also be an advantage Knowledge of Microsoft Office and social media marketing is also an advantage.
