This is a great opportunity to grow your career in a team that loves what they do for the city they live, work and play in.The role & youSitting within Transport & Infrastructure is our Network Management team who work hard to ensure our codes standards and processes are applied consistently across our transport corridor.They are a diverse group of people who are passionate about the work they do for our city and the people who call Pōneke home.As a Traffic Management Coordinator your primary duty is to ensure any works carried out on public roads comply with safety requirements and codes of practices, providing advice on traffic management activities and undertaking inspections and audits of works underway.Ask anyone in our Network Management Team and they'll tell you that communication and relationship management is key to being a great TMC here at WCC. We believe in fostering quality and supportive relationships between us and our contractor partners is one of the main contributors to an efficient network. As a TMC you need to be able to stick to the requirements and rules and the contractor needs to feel comfortable enough to approach when assistance is required.You don't need to have prior experience within the Temporary Traffic Management industry as full training will be provided to the right person.
