JOB OVERVIEW: This position is mainly responsible for generating sales to achieve the Retail Electricity Supply unit s revenue target. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Contract Revenue Generation: Deliver sales target revenue via conduct of effective marketing and sales strategies in the Retail Competition and Open Access space. Marketing: Identify potential Customers in assigned market segment and establish Sales/Customer pipeline for existing or upcoming capacities; Generate leads and engage with potential customers in assigned market segment, and effectively promote products and services via effective customer acquisition strategies to convert these potential customers into sales; Expand Retail Customer Base (RES & GEOP) in assigned market segment. Contract Acquisition: Timely prepare offer sheets/disclosure statements and other similar documents; and effectively conduct sales pitch/presentation to Clients covering all aspects of the Offer, including but not limited to commercial and technical aspects; Conduct effective sales presentations and other forms of marketing strategies to potential customers; Origination of Retail Supply Contracts and coordination with appropriate internal support team/s for proper guidance and clearance; present, discuss, negotiate and close out Retail Supply Contracts with Customers; Effectively coordinate with external/ internal stakeholders on Customer switching initiatives with due regard to regulatory timeliness. Account Management: Develop and nurture strong business relationships with Clients for account retention/contract renewals; Timely analyze, address and resolve Client queries/issues/complaints/requests as they arise. Coordinate with appropriate internal stakeholders for timely resolutions of Client concerns; Identify other business opportunities with Client via cross-selling. Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of market trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory shifts impacting the retail electricity sector; Undertake comprehensive market research to pinpoint opportunities, discern prevailing trends, understand customer preferences, and behaviors, and integrate these insights into tailored marketing strategies; Provide Management with strategic data-driven actionable insights through market analyses. Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time. QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION: Holds a Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Marketing, Communications, or any Business related course. EXPERIENCE: With at least 2 years of relevant experience in power marketing and sales. SKILLS: Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Able to hand multiple projects at once Demonstrate initiative and competence in performing his/her duties. Able to demonstrate ease in learning the rudiments of assigned work and responsibilities
