With innovative pre-fillable syringes, self-injection systems, safety systems and needle technologies, the Pharmaceutical Systems (PS) team offer an extensive selection of solutions designed to protect, package and deliver drug therapies.Job DescriptionAbout the roleIn this role, you will build a brand-new Business Analytics function within the Business Unit, establishing a team which will focus on identifying and providing insights from data in support of enterprise Business Unit strategy.You will foster the development of a highly proficient team of BI/Analytics experts who efficiently deliver solutions (including Reporting, Dashboard/Visualizations), promoting uniformity, analytical advancement, and a culture of business enablement via information throughout the organization.In addition, you will:Design, develop, and deploy self-service analytics platforms and tools that increase our team members’ ability to access and analyze data on their own.Work with a cross-functional team in the design and development of analytics dashboards. Utilize and build new, easy-to-understand tools to allow for simple visualization of complex data to allow end users to quickly identify and interpret patterns in the data (i.e. market share measurement)Participate in Annual Strategic Plan preparation, prepare models leveraging statistical tools focused on long-terms forecast based on market intelligence inputsAssist in the migration and restructuring of data in a centralized repository and contribute to the ongoing development of the business analytics platform and tools’ backend.Use trend analysis, statistics, and other data analysis techniques to understand market trends, long-term demand forecast, market share projections, determine the success of operations, marketing, and product initiatives/pilots and to identify areas of opportunity to improve performance of programs and drive member engagement.Prepare presentations and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.Assist in the testing and design of data enhancementsAbout youYou will be an experienced Business Analytics leader, with an excellent track record working in a matrixed environment, navigating complexity and operating as a consultative business partner. Experience within the pharma or FMCG industry would be preferred.Also you will have:Knowledge of experimental design and statisticsCommercial and/or salesforce effectivenessExperience querying large databases (SQL knowledge preferred)Strong data storytelling skills; ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with both technical and non-technical staff, as well as executive and non-executive audiencesProficiency with at least one statistical programming language, such as SAS, R, PythonProficiency using data visualization tools, Power BI preferredSystems integration, project & portfolio managementClick on apply if this sounds like you!Becton, Dickinson and Company is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
