Global Job Map DescriptionManages products/services in the Ecolab QSR West Region of Europe through assigned field service managers. Develops plans and activities for achieving divisional business goals.Position PurposeManage resources and activities to achieve divisional business goals. Develops and leads a team of Field Service Managers. Responsible for coordinating region roll-outs and services, ensuring service excellence, managing open routes, pursuing new opportunities, and performing food safety audits/visits. Participating in recruiting, selecting, coaching, and driving performance management as a vital component of the position. Lead role in retaining and growing existing customers by ensuring consistent service delivery through ethical and sound business practices. Inspire, motivate, and engage direct team to achieve regional goals and create shared ownership for success.Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee a team of Field Service Managers (sales, individual development, motivation, assessment, and feedback).
  • Maintain sales at existing customers through ensuring the partnership conditions are properly executed and by merchandising the Ecolab added value at the customer on a frequent basis.
  • Grow sales through introduction of new programs based on feedback from Field Service Managers and in perfect collaboration with CAM’s/BDM’s, as well as own experience from field or development of sales through new subsidiaries of existing customers.
  • Setup and monitor tests and trials of new customers.
  • Supports the team to install new customers and/or equipment at existing customers. Manage and coordinate national rollouts with or without the support of subcontractors.
  • Ensure a sound gross margin and its growth through:
Product mix managementEquipment managementRelevant logistic schemes.Forecasting and Sales Reporting
  • Meets and exceeds each customers’ Service Level Agreement.
  • Ensures that visit standards and customer training are of high quality and consistent.
  • Performs reviews with customers in agreement with contract.
  • Ensures the team are trained and calibrated regularly.
Required:
  • Bachelors’ degree with previous experience in the role
  • 5+ years of significant relevant experience in a food service, hospitality, or retail environment.
  • Previous experience coordinating, supervising, and/or training a team.
  • PC skills: proficient in MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Very good communication & self-organizational skills
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% including overnight for business
  • Fluent French/English
