- Contributes to and supports the implementation of category strategy and roadmap
- Manages and executes strategic sourcing initiatives across all PR affiliates in line with the L3F category sourcing strategy and roadmap
- Maximizes value creation along 3 lenses: Buy Better (leverage Pernod Ricard’s scale & procurement practices) Spend Better (harmonize policies, processes and manage demand), Track Better (spend performance, compliance, sustainability and diversity).
- Creates efficient internal processes and maintains structured communication matrix with PR affiliates and central functions
- Contributes to the definition of roadmap to deliver objectives
- Develop medium term category strategy, besides Category Director
- Is responsible for execution of contracting strategy
- Is responsible to build category S&R roadmap to support Group Sustainability agenda
- Is accountable for delivery of pipeline of initiatives with margin improvement projects
- Understands market dynamics and secures good supplier intelligence and innovations
- Is strongly engaged in potential supplier identification, sourcing base development, and business attribution decisions
- Is part of strategic interface towards suppliers - builds strong and strategic relationships in line with SRM program
- Develops effective implementation plans for global activities, follows closely with affiliates on identified local initiatives
- Provides escalation support to find solutions for ongoing requests
- Leads development and implementation of best practice procurement tools and processes
- 7 years' experience in indirect procurement with successful, multi-year track record (focus on Commercial / Trade Marketing categories)
- Experience from FMCG procurement organization at regional or global level
- Experienced in building/realization of category strategy in an autonomous position
- Very good knowledge of sourcing processes and methodologies
- Advanced negotiator, developed problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills: verbal and presenting, proficient in English
- Practical experience and capabilities in digital & e-sourcing tools, advance analytics
- Knowledge of commercial strategies and needs to drive business
