SUMMARYThe Engineer, Maintenance I under the general supervision of the Manager, Facility Services will support the process to satisfy new and current customer demands at FCC as to meet all of our customer requests.The Engineer, Maintenance I will administer an ongoing maintenance program for FCI to ensure the facility equipment is fully operational. The Engineer will perform preventive maintenance, emergency maintenance, part installation, diagnostics and/or repairs on facility equipment.Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of repairs and preventive maintenance duties to ensure building equipment, production equipment, building and grounds are maintained and performing to standard.
  • Complete all assigned scheduled preventive maintenance tasks. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Assist in documenting and identifying problem areas and maintaining the preventive maintenance program.
  • Examine equipment during operation to determine if adjustments or repairs are needed.
  • Request materials as needed for maintenance and repair of equipment or systems.
  • Some assigned after hours support is required.
  • Participate in Business Continuity exercises and activities.
  • This job requires full time punctual attendance at the workplace to perform the assigned maintenance duties.
  • This position requires the ability to work within a team effectively including providing training classes for remaining team on any Technical training classes received.
  • This position requires work from a ladder, the use of appropriate PPE and the demonstrated ability to work safely under all conditions

QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED); Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn in a team environment. Basic computer skills required.
