- Lead an IVV team; Develop estimates; Manage budget and schedule for the IVV domain on a project.
- Interface with customers and upper management; Work with System Engineers in identifying and analyzing defects.
- Plan and Execute Test Events; Write test plans and test procedures that will properly verify and validate the product; Develop Test cases; Provide Test Reports and status updates on test activities. Observe test guidelines and Company internal processes.
- Analyze requirements and contribute to the development of traceability matrices; Raise project issues/risks and track to resolution; Deploy methodologies (including metrics), tools/platforms necessary for test activities.
- Bachelor’s degree or college diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Technology, or other related discipline from a recognized university or college.
- Experience with IVV component of large or complex projects; Live acceptance trials for land, sea, or air project; Test Case development and execution; either manual or automated; Requirements Analysis and Test Management Tools.
- Demonstrated test experience in military ground based air defense systems including, but not limited to, radar, tactical data links, Command and Control (C2) systems, and secure voice and data communication systems.
- Demonstrated experience in radar systems; Experience handling and working on physical systems, products, or equipment; Executing Integration and/or leading Integration Activities.
- Developing an Integration Strategy/Plan; Monitoring the Integration Activity; Providing reports and status updates; Security, Performance, and Stability testing; Script and Simulation tools development and maintenance; Experience in either a V-model or Agile development environment; Experience with IBM DOORS; Experience with JIRA.
- Travel is a necessity, can be for Test Events, for training, or for technical meetings.
- Test sites can be located in difficult-to-navigate areas. This could include shipyards, construction sites, remote wilderness locations. Although infrequent, such sites may need to be used for certain test events. The ability to navigate such sites is a necessity.
- Minimal lifting of test and electronic equipment in a lab or field environment.
- Please note that this role will involve office/lab work as well as working at client site(s).
