Logistics Assistant

• Handles import forwarding, customs clearance and delivery requirements of a client in a timely manner which includes the following:
• Receives and acknowledge of awarded shipments
• Accomplishes shipment status
• Communicates with Agents for preparation of import shipping documents (i.e.: HBL, MBL, invoice, packing list, Form E if any)
• Checks the comprehensiveness and accuracy of import documents received from Agents
• Secures final approval of draft HBL from consignee or appointed Broker
• Sends pre alert to Consignee / Broker
• Prepares draft manifest to preferred VASP such as CDEC, Interco and E-Konek in the absence of Manifest-In-Charge
• Forwards destination charges to Accounting for billing purposes
• Monitors shipment arrival to secure validated manifest
• Prepares turnover documents such as DO, container guarantee
