Responsibilities: Collaboration with external partners who undertake the development and support of the IT applications Participation in the deployment and configuration of the applications in the production environment and in the configuration of the monitoring and alerting of the applications in order to ensure their performance and availability Identifying and troubleshooting issues related to applications, to the infrastructure they run on and to their interfacing with third-party applications and systems Collaboration with other IT teams in order to solve issues and to prevent future incidents Creating and updating the documentation of the applications and the procedures related to the operation and support of the applications (e.g. operations manual, troubleshooting manual) Development and implementation of the automation scripts to streamline the application development and processes management Letting the application business owners know about incidents and issues resolution progress via phone, email, JIRA and ServiceNow Collaboration with development teams to define the technical vision and product strategy, including the architecture, the extensibility and the performance requirements Contribution to the conversion of business requirements into technical requirements that can be used by development teams to build the product Communication with stakeholders and customers to provide regular updates Requirements: Bachelor's degree from a University or Technological Educational Institute or Institute of Vocational Training or Diploma in Information Technology or Information Technology Engineering or Computer Systems Engineering or Business Administration or related field At least two (2) years of relevant experience in the position At least five (5) years of relevant experience in Information Technology positions At least two (2) years of relevant experience in development and maintenance of web applications Experience in the Energy sector will be considered an additional qualification Experience in DevOps (Development Operations) philosophy and practices will be considered an additional qualification Knowledge and use of specialized programs: Cloud Technologies (e.g. MS Azure) Good knowledge of the English language Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) & Internet (applies to applicants who hold a degree in Business Administration or in a related field) Availability in case of emergency (upon phone contact) Competencies: Accountability and result orientation Teamwork and cross-functional collaboration Problem-solving and decision-making skills Effective communication Customer orientation Organizational development Understanding of the business environment Driving change & innovation Organizational and negotiation skills Commercial and technological skills of understanding the IT applications Benefits: Inclusive working environment Continuous training and participation in development activities Group health and life insurance program Reduced electricity consumption invoice Possibility of flexible work arrangements
