Taura Natural Ingredients provide customer specific solutions for some of the best recognised consumer brands with world class production facilities in Mount Maunganui, and Belgium.Due to significant growth, we are seeking a Production Planner to join our team working at our Mount Maunganui site and reporting to the Supply Chain Manager. This is a part-time (30 hours/week) permanent position that has key functional relationships with many facets of the business.Key responsibilities include creating and maintaining weekly detailed production / supply schedules to meet customer demand requirements. This role regularly interacts with Production, Quality, Commercial, Product Development and Supply Chain teams.Responsibilities:

Issue detailed production schedules utilising our ERP system and excel
Manage production details in line with business strategy (cost, rate, inventory, compliance, etc).
Assure schedule is continually maintained and communicated throughout the supply chain.
Highlight and actively participate in the identification and resolution of inventory, customer order and quality issues as they develop.
Primary point of contact with customer service team
Manage production work orders to ensure accuracy and maintain data integrity
Primary interface between manufacturing and supply chain planning
Works with manufacturing to optimise the production schedule within manufacturing capabilities
Maintain & monitor key KPIs for (production to plan, delivery to promise, etc.)

Job RequirementsSkills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration or related fields an advantage
+3 years experience in operations or supply chain roles
Knowledge of supply planning theory and stock management
Knowledge of MS Office tools (advanced Excel skills a must)
Excellent business English communication skills
Analytical and quantitative skills
Continuous improvement attitude
Ability to handle frequent change with a flexible and solutions-focused approach
