The successful candidate will possess strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a solid understanding of KYC (Know Your Customer) principles. Analyst will perform primary duties as a Periodic Review, and secondary duties as a name screening AnalystYou will be responsible for :
  • Perform periodic reviews of customer profiles to assess the accuracy and completeness of customer information and documentation.
  • Review customer transactions and activity to identify any unusual or suspicious behavior that may warrant further investigation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures during the periodic review process.
  • Identify and escalate any deficiencies or discrepancies in customer profiles to the appropriate stakeholders for further review and action.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of periodic review activities, including findings, recommendations, and any remediation efforts undertaken.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including compliance, risk management, and business units, to address issues identified during the periodic review process.
  • Conduct thorough name screening checks using internal and external databases to identify potential matches against watchlists, sanctions lists, politically exposed persons (PEPs), and adverse media.
  • Analyze screening results to determine the relevance and risk level of potential matches, escalating high-risk cases to the appropriate stakeholders for further review and action.
  • Investigate and resolve false positives by conducting additional research and analysis to verify customer identities and assess potential risk factors.
Ideal Profile
  • English language proficiency is a must.
  • Bachelor degree in Law/Economy or another relevant discipline with strong academic result
  • Min 2 years customer onboarding experience, ideally from Start up, Banking, non-banking financial services or other regulated industries
  • Experience in previous exposure to Anti-Money Laundering and Customer Due Diligence checks.
  • Experience in Enhanced Due Diligence and client Periodic Review.
  • Proven experience in Know Your Customer (KYC), background checking, and name screening.
  • Verbal and written communication skills across various levels.
  • Comfortable in activities related to correspondence and administration.
  • Meticulous and detail oriented.
  • You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data.
