
Customer Supply Chain leader

- Own, drive and develop joint-planning activities (monthly / quarterly)
- Preparation, and coordination of joint-planning meetings
- Follow-up of action-plans to maximize the value of such forums
- Drive the right level of attendance and engagement both at BD and with our customers
- Ensure joint-planning covers both short and mid/long term horizon (12 to 18 months).
- Ensure that production planning and inventory strategies are aligned with business objectives (inventory level) and are shared and in line with the Client.
- Prioritize and categorize issues, implement actions to secure the customer's supply chain, and develop corrective and preventive action plans to prevent the occurrence of new failures.
- Set up governance/management rules that allow for a better understanding of customer expectations and address them as part of the definition of a long-term partnership.
- Coordinate production capacity to meet future demand, implement innovative inventory management solutions, and optimize physical flows to minimize disruptions between BD and Customer Factories.
- Develop business continuity plans (BCP) specific to customer demand and support the development of a coordinated BCP approach including Purchasing (alternative sourcing), Manufacturing, and Business axes.
- Encourage Sales and Supply Chain to work together, benefiting Customers with services like consignment stocks, inbound control delegation, and direct shipment.
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a client facing supply chain role.
- Expertise in planning, demand and inventory management, as well as a strategic vision of customer relations.
- Strong analytical skills and a probing approach, coupled with the ability to work well with people at all levels in the organization.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team working skills. This role will require active communication across all levels of the organization.
- Proven ability to lead, prioritize client needs, and maintain effective communication.
- Proficient in English.
