We are also the 1st site for sales between individuals in France and the 5th most consulted site in France.What you’ll do ​& Who you areTo strengthen Adevinta's Pricing team, we are looking for a Backend Developer based in Paris. The team's mission is to provide all the prices for all our products in each Adevinta marketplace. Among other things, this service makes it possible to carry out A/B tests, massive promotional offers and give our internal customers the opportunity to manage prices themselves.You will be part of a team of developers: Backend, Front Web, a UX Designer, a Product Owner and reporting to an Engineering Manager. Working directly with the Product Owner, you will be involved in the entire process of developing backend functionality.Reporting to the Engineer Manager of your Feature Team, you will be responsible for :Develop new functionalities in line with current best practice in terms of quality, performance and scalabilityProduce software architectures aligned with the product's functional and non-functional requirements, integrating with boncoin's ecosystem and technical stack.Participating in the squad's scope architecture work with the teamParticipate in product backlog grooming sessionsHelping to improve development, testing and deployment environments and methodsBe a source of ideas for challenging and improving the product and the technical stackParticipate in technology watchQualifications :Are you a developer with a passion for backend technologies? Do you have a taste for open source, best practices, new developments and conferences on backend technologies?Are you rigorous and keen to take on technical challenges to meet the needs of our users? Here's what we're looking for in this position :Experience in Golang or C++, Java, Scala,Python.Experience of distributed, event-driven architectures, microservices, RESTful APIs and monitoring (datadog, Prometheus, etc.)Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL in particular).Familiar with Kafka, or other message broker systemsExperience of payment technologies and APIs is highly desirable.Experience with AWS would be appreciated.Familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and DevOps.Ability to work independently and to develop skills rapidly.Ability to work in a team, share knowledge and help others.BenefitsLife at Adevinta comes with its perks!
